Committees... • Family Selection/Support -- Reviews eligibility criteria, interviews applicants and selects families who are qualified to receive homes. Also provides assistance to families once they have been selected for partnership. • Church Relations – Seeks to forge a vital link between Habitat and the community churches and works to establish church partnerships. • Fund Raising/Public Relations – Utilizes talents in all phases of fund raising. Promotes the purpose and vision of Habitat through the use of media, pamphlets, public speakers, and the Habitat newsletter. • Site Selection – Identifies potential sites; evaluates availability and appropriateness for affiliate’s basic house plans. Works closely with construction committee. • Safety/Construction – Encompasses all phases of construction. Works with site selection committee to evaluate potential building sites, and creates workable construction plan. Special Interests... • Lunch Providers – Support our construction site volunteers by providing lunch at the work site. • Miscellaneous office work – Data entry, answering phones, etc. • Professional Services – Please contact us for more information.
